The Wetsuitman at the Arcola Theatre – limited run!

We’re thrilled to announce that this summer, our production of will take the stage at Arcola Theatre from Tuesday 29 August to Saturday 2 September.

Once again, we’re immensely proud to present this powerful piece by Freek Mariën, skillfully translated by David McKay, a former FATT mentorship participant. Based on a true story, this timely and impactful play takes us on a poignant journey from Norway, across Europe, and to Syria, revealing the devastating truth of a family’s loss.

While we typically thrive in unconventional spaces, we’re excited to bring our production to the renowned Arcola Theatre, celebrated for its trailblazing work. As a fellow Hackney-based company, it feels like a perfect fit. Moreover, Arcola is at the forefront of sustainability, aiming to become the world’s first carbon-neutral theatre. We’re eager to learn more about their sustainable production practices.

We’re thrilled to collaborate again with our fantastic creative team, which includes a few new additions. Stay tuned for more details! And we couldn’t be more excited to have the incredibly talented cast of David Djemal, Eugenia Low and Youness Bouzinab, who truly bring our production to life.

Whether you missed our previous run at the Rose Lipman Building in 2022 or you’re eager to join us for the next leg of this theatrical journey, we invite you to join us at the Arcola this summer. Studio 2, where the performance will take place, is known to provide a cool escape from the summer heat.

We can’t wait to welcome you to The Wetsuitman once again! Don’t miss your chance to experience the captivating story. .
