Exactly five years ago, we were preparing to celebrate our tenth anniversary with a series of workshops and creative sessions. Of course, the world had other plans, and we quickly moved everything online. The festival we hosted was a wonderful experience and we were thrilled to connect with our global community. However, we missed celebrating with all of you in person — those who have been with us since the very beginning in 2010.
Now, as we celebrate our fifteenth anniversary, we’re excited to host a season of in-person workshops and creative sessions (plus a celebration in June – but more on that later) at our Hackney home, the Rose Lipman Building. These sessions have been designed based on our work over the last 15 years, with input from our creative community. A huge thank you to everyone who contributed—your feedback means the world!
We can’t wait to reconnect with you in person!
Reflecting on this milestone, we’re beyond proud of our often tumultuous journey—from being actors to founding a company out of a need for a space to belong. That spirit has driven Foreign Affairs since day one and continues to inspire us today.
While this season is all about celebrating and working with our London community, we haven’t forgotten our global one! We’re launching an exciting new addition to our website—a knowledge hub focused on working with plays in translation—and we’re planning online activities for our international friends. Stay tuned for more!
In the meantime, check out the workshops and sessions we’ve planned for this season below. We’re looking forward to seeing you there!
