We believe that making theatre means creating space – space for care, connection, and change. We’ve gathered our key policies and commitments in one place – to make them easier to access and put into practice, and easier to keep updated by a micro team like ours.

This living document brings together:

  • Code of Behaviour
  • Equity, Diversity & Inclusion Policy
  • Equity, Diversity & Inclusion Action Plan
  • Safeguarding Policy
  • Anti-Racism Commitment
  • Environmental Commitment

These shape how we work – with artists, partners, participants, and audiences – and reflect the values that underpin everything we do.

Safeguarding is everyone’s responsibility. We’re committed to creating spaces where everyone feels safe, respected, and able to participate fully – whether in person or online.

We know we’re not perfect – but we’re committed to listening, learning, and evolving. By sharing these documents, we aim to be transparent about the principles we hold and the actions we’re taking to turn them into practice.

You can view or download the full document here. (Google Drive link opens in a new tab).

If you need the document in a different format, or anything isn’t accessible, please get in touch at team@foreignaffairs.org.uk – we’re happy to help.

We update it regularly, and it’s always a work in progress – just like the conversations it’s part of.
