Every month we share our upcoming plans as well as offer insights into our hopes and dreams for the future. We hope you enjoy!

A cold and rainy January flew by as our online Theatre Translation Showcase took centre stage. We were thrilled to need to upgrade our Zoom account to welcome the large number of people who joined us from all corners of the world! Thank you everyone who came and made our spectacular showcase really shine in this dark January!

As the showcase brought our journey with the ‘spectacular six’ translators to an end (or new beginning, wink wink!), we have inevitably found ourselves recovering from post-programme blues. Yet, as the calendar slowly moves through February towards the balancing forces of the spring equinox, we’re taking this moment to reflect on our own ups and downs as we all navigate this pandemic. What has come shining through is how our creative communities have played a huge role in keeping us in balance – creatively, mentally and emotionally. ❤️

Setting our eyes on the horizon we can’t help but be excited with what lies ahead.

Inspired by our creative communities, we are pursuing new approaches to our FATT Lab programme and our Ensemble – building on the community aspect as well as planning for the days when we all can be together in the same room!

We couldn’t think of a better way to kickstart the spring season (and the beginning of the new year in many cultures) than by offering a free online workshop programme for emerging theatre-makers. Our dear and talented friend, Nastazja Somers will be facilitating and we couldn’t be happier! Details will be announced this week, so keep an eye out on our social media channels and feel free to share it with anyone you think might benefit from it.

As we walk in the snow-covered park, build snowmen and snuggle up with a hot cup of tea at home, we dream and hope that the approach of the spring season will lighten and warm our days, setting us off into new promising spaces where we can literally embrace each other, and celebrate a ‘new’ future together!

We feel inspired and excited about the journey ahead! How about you?
