Our home for three years now, the Rose Lipman Building has welcomed us with open arms. The various spaces in this amazing building have seen six [Foreign Affairs] site-specific productions to packed houses! This month we are putting a spotlight on this creative space and the people that bring it to life.
Having performed in the community hall, black-box, vault and other interesting and unusual corners of the building, The Rose Lipman has been our home for amongst other projects; two Spring Equinox events showcasing our ensemble’s talents; an English world premiere of the Danish play Helmer Hardcore – A Dolls House II; Remembering Three Sisters an R&D project based on Chekhov’s play; Speakeasy – a celebration of language in partnership with London Arts & Humanities and University College London; and most recently our Open House event with public readings and talks from theatre and translation experts.
We love this quirky building and the people who bring it to life and we’ll be sharing our appreciation on social media over the next few weeks.
