Join our international ensemble of theatre-makers and practitioners and be part of [Foreign Affairs] theatre company for a year.

Are you interested in collaborative theatre-making? Are you a professional actor, performer or theatre-maker looking to develop new skills and expand your artistic practice? We are opening an opportunity for new people to join our international ensemble of theatre-makers and practitioners.

The [Foreign Affairs] ensemble is a collective of theatre artists and practitioners from around the globe that meets for a full weekend every month to exchange knowledge and develop new skills. Through a collaborative approach, we work towards developing a shared creative language that can feed and enhance our artistic output.

Our work mainly (but not exclusively) examines physical approaches to making theatre and working with text mixed with multicultural vocal and musical explorations for good measure.

The ensemble workshops consist of a combination of,

  • Explorative lab sessions where we learn and test new approaches
  • Skill building sessions where we ‘exercise’ our theatre-making ‘muscles’
  • Creative sessions where we develop new work – this is where it all comes together!

Our annual Spring Equinox show taking place in March showcases the work of the ensemble in a one-off theatrical event.

Join our growing community of innovative, dynamic and adventurous theatre-makers for twelve months and expand your artistic practice. Develop new skills, broaden your knowledge and feed your creativity in a supportive environment.

If you have any questions, feel free to contact us but do have a quick look at our FAQ page before doing so.
